WHITE FILLINGS

These days, more and more patients ask us about getting white fillings because they desire their teeth to look natural when they laugh, smile and talk. White fillings, also known as composite fillings, are made from accurately coloured materials that restore the natural appearance of a decayed/previously filled tooth.

One visit is all that's needed with composite fillings, during which the tooth is prepared and restored. An advantage of white
fillings, as with other dental fixes, is that they require less of the natural/healthy part of a tooth to be removed to hold the filling in it's place. This is due to composite materials' ability to bond to teeth adhesively.

For obvious cosmetic reasons, composites are preferable but if the decayed area is large or is subject to heavy chewing pressure, we may recommend a different type of material or restoration.

We offer a full range of options and will fully inform you of the pros and cons so that you can make an informed decision. All of our filling fees range from $210 and all are under $395. We offer a discounted fee per filling if we are fixing more than one filling at an appointment.
